Nagin and Blanco voters. Oh...Mary too.
Hope someone fed that pit bull and also saved the bull he was attacking. That's an amazing photo. I am curious who were the volunteers feeding the people vegetarian food.
Ok, I haven't read the article yet but...what the heck is with the pic?
"A Starving Pit Bull Attacks A Bull Beside The New Orleans Bayou"
What in the world is that picture about?
You know that has to be the dumbest dog in the world. Attacking a bull when there is a nice tasty human right in the area taking a picture !! LOL !!
Has anyone heard of photoshop?
Oh, it's definitely photoshopped, but my question is why is it included with this story. It's not on the link to the story.
"The police jumped on me and told me to get out of town," said Mr Casey.
"One put a Magnum against my head while another punched me and stamped on my glasses. I felt the presence of an almighty egotistical force that was really scaring the bejeebees out of people who had the legal right to be here. Today, I'm just one of the people here ready to rebuild."
You know I'm no friend of the LEA's but this here has got my BSometer running in the red.
"Clyde Casey, 43, an artist who stayed behind, said: "It felt like the Gestapo was coming in. The government tried to punish us for being prepared when they hadn't been."
Mr. Casey, that is the quote of the day.
The photo caption was a misprint. That Pitbull was being airdropped to control a wild herd of cattle that were threatening rescuers.
"the hoodlums and dopes and robbers that infested this place like fleas on a dead cat".
Nagin and Blanco voters. Oh...Mary too.
Oooh, help, I don't know how to do this, but I think you know what I want to do - let's just put a line through "voters"
I have a little dog who would make a leap like that for just a doggie biscuit. Heaven knows what she'd do for an entire lifetime of steak on the hoof.
Assuming the essence of this story is true (that residents can stay and rebuild without being hauled away by force), Nagin has got to be the biggest dithering jackass in government anywhere. First he fails to get them out, then he's ready to drag them bodily from the city, now he's saying they should stay. He's the John Kerry of New Orleans.
"There's no need to fear, Underdog is here!"

Do the police down there still carry revolvers?
My kids could do a better job with photoshop than this rookie. As a matter of fact, I'll bet I even could.
Don't know but it just doesn't sound right to me
