I am doomed because I chose to become an attorney?
soul-searching questions (answer honestly to yourself, not necessarily on this thread):
Why did you choose to be a lawyer?
where you not aware of the general societal view of lawyers when you went to law school and when you took the bar?
Do you define yourself as a lawyer, as say, opposed to a Christian, a painter, a historian, etc?
where you aware that most starting lawyers work 70-80 hours a week and that many never stop that?
What do you have to offer a man--in essence why should any guy go out with you or marry you?
There are plenty of guys who would be interested in you, but being a lawyer is no great advantage in finding a conservative guy--you need to seriously evaluate your non-lawyer self: is there anything there other than law? If not, then find an area of law (like agricultural law), where you will rub elbows with men who are different than you, but might find you interesting.
as for me, I went to law school in my 40s (in that town which will probably have me forever banned from Freeperville--Ithaca, NY, at Cornell Law School), I was married with four children (boy was that a wild ride. I am a licensed attorney, but my thinking is not so much as a lawyer, but as a historian and theologian, and my family came before the law(both temporally and practically). I had no illusions about lawyers--in fact I shared the societal view until I went to law school and began to see the importance of rule by law.

Law girl is not doomed because she chose to be a lawyer.
There are many people who simply don't want a lawyer as a wife and EQUALLY many women who do not want a lawyer as a husband.
It is only a question of what YOU want in a relationship and what the OTHER person wants AND if they are compatable.
It is just a question of you communicating your "must haves" to him and he communicating his "must haves".
Don't get so paranoid, some people are petty enough to rule out a mate just because you have a red BMW. Just tell the truth.
