"This whiner probably won't mention that she is a femi-nazi, control freak and total bitch."
Now that's uncalled for. You don't even know this woman and you are making all kinds of assumptions about her. I've seen the men here on FR "bitch" about the way women marry and suck the man for everything he has and then divorce him, taking huge alimoney payments with them. This woman works herself through college, and is now a self reliant woman looking for a relationship and all you can say is that she's a bitch? UnFreakingBelievable.

There are millions of arrogant hookers like this in the United States, they've just changed the form of payment. This type usually offers up a sexual performance worthy of a cereal box ring.I didn't delve that deeply for obvious reasons.
I do think, however, that a certain sense of unreality is pervading the dating world. Relationships are not cure alls, nor will they be perfect, as they are founded on imperfect human beings. I wonder why it is that this face has somehow been lost.

I think I have a handle on that score.Really? Well you in a very small minority and I think most men would agree! LOL!
However thanks for your male insight, something to consider but I really prefer the type of man who see something he wants and has enought confidence to go after it without being afraid of rejection but then that's just me

I think the Prince of Monaco might already be taken, which is a common problem with women nowadays.A "prince" might be nice.....since I've already had the frog. *chuckle*
It amazes me that most men my age are looking for 25yr old women....and are surprised those women use/abuse and leave them in the dust. I get tapped by men 15 yrs younger... who want stability, loyalty, maturity and can't compete with the sugar-daddy syndrome. What a crazy world.

I totally agree apackof2--if a man doesn't have the strength to lead into a conversation to ask you out, how is he going to have the strength to lead a marriage?Thank you as I repeated in post #43

"Let me provide you with a clue....women like to be pursued and courted"
OK.
Now we get to launch into a lengthy discussion on how the feminist movement of the 60's/70's screwed everything up for everyone 'cuz now we males don't know what to expect from women in general.
We are EMPHATICALLY NOT MIND-READERS.
We are HARD PROGRAMMED, and essentially DUMB AS ROCKS.
TOO MANY CROSSED WIRES AND MIXED SIGNALS from women these days.

Joining a church to meet men? Rubs me the wrong way--I'm all for going to church, but not for this reason. She could join a country club as a social or golfing member. There are always some divorced, seperated-- or about to be--men around that might fit her bill.

I totally agree apackof2--if a man doesn't have the strength to lead into a conversation to ask you out, how is he going to have the strength to lead a marriage? So what is wrong with you leading the family? You have assumed the traditional male role as soon as you chose that career. Now you want your cake and eat it too? That is not fair to the men.
The outcome of modern feminism is that while women were fighting to obtain equal rights with men they did not allow men to have equal rights with them.

Statistic: In the US, internet dating websites like eHarmony have over 40 million paid subscribers. Estimates are that about 7 million of those are already married.
Online dating is one of the fastest growing businesses in the US.

Many men love dominant women. It's up to her to make the first move. Pardon for jumping in here.
I've observed some men, who will flat out and say admit "no woman intimidates me!" He might be joking a bit, but I think he's serious.
A woman in her right mind wouldn't ask him out. My take on that is, if he doesn't ask her out, he's not intererested.

Ivan,
Maybe you should have said to her. "Wow you are so deep." and made her pay for her own cheque. You would have sent her a message most men don't have the guts to do especially if she is very attractive.

Exactly, a mans going to think,"why does a woman like that even need a man"?No, a man is going to think "dominate me in bed".

Gee I never looked at it that way...I wondered why a man 15 years younger would be hitting on me, considering most men like women younger than themselves.....I guess that could explain it

Well my reply to her asking for a Dior watch was this:
"You haven't even said you want to be my girlfriend yet."
She said, "Whoa, go slow!"
"I am," I replied, "you're the one asking for a Dior watch."
She shut up after that, and that was it.

The woman got what she wanted: a well paying position of power and influence. Why is she complaining? Did she think she wouldn't have to pay a price - emotional or relational -for her success?
Perhaps she suffers from the Jane Pauley Syndrome: a psychological disturbance that afflicts women; it springs from the foolish hope or desire to have everything in life.
Everything costs something. To get something, you have to give up other things. Apparently, she didn't learn that in college or while climbing the corporate ladder.

Believe it or not but a lot of men want the same thing. A woman who sees what she wants and goes after it.
And just for your information, I'm female.
