I believe Summers is a McNairy County Democrat. Same county that produced the Democrat Pardon for Hire during the Blanton Administration. It wouldn't take but a cursory look into irregularities in the voting in the Ford district to see some real problems IMHO. Summers, if he is the one from McNairy County, is linked to some real questionable deals.

Thanks.
I googled Paul Summers and found he does need to have a (D) after his name - a notation the article failed to disclose. I also found that Mr. Summers was appointed to his office by the Tennessee Supreme Court. That office is an elected one in the State of Alabama.
"Paul G. Summers has served as Attorney General since his appointment by the Tennessee Supreme Court in January 1999."
