The FBI is investigating whether Mahmoud Maawad, 29, had any connection to terrorists.

Unbelievable! This is blatant profiling!

They certainly wouldn't want to do that. Check out this link:

Notice the FBI had him on the Terrorist Watch List and he had run afoul of the law on several occaisions,... yet nothing was done and he was still wandering around free!

Frankly, I think the FBI is about hopeless...

Not the FBI's fault judges keep letting these goes go. Able Danger stuff reveals that military was prevented from passing info on to FBI by LAWYERS. FBI in Arizona thought flight training was a problem but Washington LAWYERS didn't follow up because they thought it was profiling. Agents wanted to search Mousaui's computer but Washinton LAWYERS wouldn't let them. Don't be so quick to bash FBI. Trying to do best they can, often with two hands tied behind their backs!
