NEW YORK (AFP) - US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, British Prime Minister Tony Blair and former US president Bill Clinton, met in New York to call for development investments in Gaza. "There is a lot of poverty and despair but there's new hope and opportunities because of the Israel withdrawal," Rice said during an informal discussion organized by Clinton around the opening of the summit. "I would urge the people in this room to think early and often on what opportunities there might be for private investments in Gaza, for job creation, for small businesses, because the Palestinian people are quite a remarkable people," she said. "They're energetic, entrepreneurial," Rice said. "I would urge people to get involved," Blair said. "If the people on the Palestinian side can see this happening ... that can give them a sense of hope and confidence that they can do it," he said. "Gaza is a very poor place, over a million people living in very tight circumstances," said Clinton, who moderated the discussion. He called investment "an insurance program against terror ... for a fairly modest premium, and we would set up a pool," he said. "I think it can make a big difference." Finally, Jordan's King Abdullah II called Gaza's economy "a major challenge." "The level of poverty is an all-time low," he said. "To give peace a chance, to give hope, we do need support of the international community, NGOs and private sector. "If we can do that, then we show the people of Gaza and the people of the region that peace can work," he said.Rice, Blair, Clinton call for investment in Gaza
fix those greenhouses they tore up?
Is this before or after the palis get through raiding all the other supplies donated for the investment of Gaza?
Buy shares in the coffin business.
"The level of poverty is an all-time low," he said.
Wait, is that good or bad?
Oh, Joy!!!!!!!
They certainly are, Ms. Rice. They'd like nothing more than to put a Burka on your head and then chop it off. And because you're black, they'll probably rape you first. I find that remarkable.
Just gag me. Maybe when they learn that Israel is a country and not a "Zionist Entity". Maybe when they stop teaching their children that the highest form of aspiration is to be a shaheed. Maybe when they learn that swarming is not the way to behave when anything happens.
The palesites are not nice people and I am SICK of people kissing up to them.
But maybe we should have a similar investment and rebuilding program for the Palesites like what we're going to have for New Orleans. How many billions? 10? 20? 30? 100?
Well, they've had BILLIONS in western aid, and most of it ended up in Swiss bank accounts.
Lesson--if you don't have an honest government, all the investment and aid in the world won't help you.
For those determined to make it only a little help is necessary.
For those who are not, all the help in the world will not make them sucessful.
On second thought, I'll just withdraw a stack of $100 bills from the bank and set them on fire.
We have no business supporting a terrorist palestinian start up--here we are in Iraq fighting against terrorism and then we are supposed to invest in a palestinian terrorist area? This does not make sense. I have never understood the need for the palestinian state anyways. Aren't these folks Arabs? Don't they have Arab countries all around them? Then why don't they get out of Israel and go live with their own kind in peace?
That's where the money's going to end up anyways.
Or we could just attack Israel. By nukes would be quicker and maybe less painful.
We can just let in the Arabs for the later synagogue burning extravaganzas.

What? So they can trash whatever is built? No thanks.
Who ever heard of suicide vests before they were invented by "Palestinians"
How much is Rice investing?
The only thing worse then the Barbarians themselves is the sub species that supports them in the West.
How about shares in "Big Billy Beelzebubba's Warehouse of Weapons"? I can see the ad copy now: "Just the thing for your favorite jihadi - AK-47s, IEDs, RPGs and C4 - all at great prices in time for Ramadan!"
Twenty years from now, when the US invades "Palestine" for sponsoring a major terrorist strike against the US, the liberals everywhere will be screaming about how we built them up in the first place. It'll be all Bush's fault, in their eyes, because he brought the Palestinian state into existence. Go ahead and set your timers...
Either Qaeda's strikes on us will be the signal for Hamass to attack Israel or Hamass shall signal Qaeda. Either way, Pa-Islam's World War IV is here and now. Why won't sheeple see?
Muslims are believing that we're being punished through Katrina. Through rampant socialism, we shall be.
