I think her comments were disgusting and immature, quite to be expected of a 20-year-old with pretensions to "journalism." Give it a pass because you don't expect anything better of students ... but making her a heroine because she's into exposing other people to humiliation is just silly, imo.
That's certainly one valid way of looking at it.
While I support your view in practice, as an expression of frustration in making such a proposal is every bit as valid in the arena of ideas as many of the outlandish, hateful and even threatening columns being written against the President and accepted as "freedom of speech".
the fact that censorship of views not acceptable to the left are indicative of the stilted state of the First Ammendment in this nation.
