An entirely avoidable situation if the SAVE program were fully operational and the laws penalizing employers who hire Criminal Aliens were stiffened. IMHO, if we take away the possibility of jobs for Criminal Aliens, a lot of them will go home.
I realize this may not be popular in the business community.
The article says, "Numerous unauthorized workers have been arrested and warning notices issued to those employing unauthorized workers..." We need much more than warning notices. Throw a bunch of them in jail and the word will get around.
