There was a pre-Katrina thread that pointed out that the MSM outnumbered Sheenhan's supporters. Ergo, cropped shots
were the editors' orders of the day.
Now that the MSM has been dispersed, Sheehan no longer put up her charades and Potemkin "camps" and get away with it.
To: aaronbeth
From your screen name, I'm not so sure about that.
: ^ )
And last time I looked in a decent dictioary, people hava sex and nouns have gender.

She's typical of the CUT N RUN libs. I must admit that at first glance I saw a different word in there.

DMTA (Dirty Minds Think Alike) APWSOOA (and post within seconds of one another) LOL I have asked myself this question many times: Is my mind really dirty or does it just travel at warped speed?

The protests keep her in the press. It's counterproductive. During previous wars, the anti-war weenies went unanswered and dominated the press. You can't stop the press, but you can lesson the impact by expressing your support of our troops and America's effort to fight the War on Terrorism.

They were not unanswered. In fact there were many pro-war protests. But what succeeded was when the protesters were able to get sympathy for their cause because of the overreaction of the public (Berkeley/Oakland), the police (Chicago) and the National Guard (Kent State).

That is very interesting. Do you have any specifics that I could use to pull up so old microfiche covering stories of "support the troop" activities of the 60's and 70's? That would be great stuff to incorporate into our memorial DVD!

If you google pro-vietnam you will find some details. But it was not all anti-war as we are taught. Hell, the Hells Angels actually attacked a few war protests because they were pro-America.

Strongly disagree the press will give the leftists coverage with or without counter protests. Our presence provides the media with awkward facts that mar their storyline, and actually tends to reduce coverage for fear of FReeper or PW signs inadvertantly appearing in the photos. It also makes a HUGH difference to the local passers-by.
