In 1954, after a campaign led by the Knights of Columbus, Congress unanimously voted to add the words "under God" to "The Pledge of Allegiance," effectively making it both a patriotic oath and a public prayer.

Sadly, all the children that had gone to school before 1954 became godless heathen Atheists when they were adults, but all the children that went to school after 1954 and grew up saying "Under God" in the pledge, that became adults in the 1960s, became rock-solid conservative Christians...err, wait, that didn't happen, did it?

Note that the Constitution references the Declaration.

There's are unmistakable references to the a theistic worldview in the Constitution of the US.

No, but it's still fun to watch people get defensive when you mention the fact that we are a country founded on Judeo-Christian values.
