More like STEAL my money, my children's money and my grandchildren's money. Bush is treating this like reparations without the nationwide impact. He's swallowed whole the idea "racism" is why the people in New Orleans have so many impoverished persons. This speech is a *mess* and it won't do ONE GOOD THING to improve 'race relations'. He's pandering. Pandering!!

Pandering? Open your eyes! What did you see over the past few weeks? I saw mostly black faces living in fricking squalor in the greatest country in the world. That is pathetic. Are we to now believe it is a simple coincidence that the media focused on blacks, or that maybe there really is a serious problem here? These people lost everything - their homes, their possessions, and some of their loved ones. And could they afford the expensive flood insurance? Probably not. Maybe it is better than our tax money is spent to help these people instead of doing cow fart research and a bunch of other nonsense. We spend enough to help other impoverished countries as it is. Time to spend some of that money at home.
What this has to do with the national government overstepping its bounds and taking yet even more power upon itself than it was ever intended to and spending taxpayer dollars unconstitutionally.
I swear, I thought the hurricane in NO brought out just the worst in human nature there. It's clear it brought it out elsewhere as well.
