I was just able to get online, but I've been watching this speech from the beginning.
I think it's fantastic. First of all, the setting is not only gorgeous, it's reassuring. I was heartbroken at the thought (as I first did) that the beauty and history of New Orleans was gone. Clearly, it's not, and this speech demonstrates it.
Second, GW is speaking to the people directly hurt--giving out phone numbers to connect family members, etc.
Now he's talking about rebuilding and poverty... I can't post fast enough to write my reactions to all of this. :)
"More families should own, not rent".. yes!

I agree that the setting is beautiful and I love the blue shirt.
Of course, that stuff is just window dressing, but some have mentioned it.
