onyx - I see the nail biters are all worried about the money to be spent in the Gulf.

Although corruptions is a huge problem, didn't the president just apoint someone to oversee all the money going to rebuild the affected areas? A solicitor general or someone.

President Bush appointed the Inspector General, who has a history in prosecuting White Collar crimes, to oversee that operation.

Yes, he has appointed an Inspector General? I can't recall the exact title.

Corruption is a HUGE problem. The billions must be closely monitored.
