How would a New Orleans refugee that owned nothing to begin with ever be able to prove their ability to pay a mortgage?
Um, quite a few did own their own property and businesses. The whole area was not a ghetto slum. The media wouldn't get as much sympathy and opportunity to bash the President from the expensive homes flooded in the suburbs.
