You don't understand.

Bush is counting on Jesse Jackson and the Reverend Al Sharpton dropping by the Oval Office for a piece of the pie. Bush is in a position to buy JJ and Reverend Al. Bush has already flipped Nagin.

Bush will receive them with open arms. Rainbow/PUSH and the National Action Coalition simply want to get their beaks wet, as was said in Godfather, Part II.

Julian Bond, Tavis Smiley, and the NAACP crowd, however, can go hang. Not until they start acting nice to Condi.

This is all about money. It's a Republican Congress' chance to play New Dealer to Black America. They won't let this chance go by. The Donks are going to be frustrated spectators. Pubbie President, too.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Yes, it's great strategery by the President. Instead of large public housing, he'll want owners. Instead of public jons, he wants private entrepreneurs. Instead of the liberal plantation, he wants to bring everyone into the American Dream.

Now he just needs to nominate Janice Rogers Brown for SCOTUS and further make the point that the party of hope for all Americans, including Black Americans, is the Republican Party!

I love it when a plan comes together!

are you kidding me? this is the method by which you want the republican party to improve its standing in the african american community? huge payouts, and Jackson and Sharpton in the oval office?

is this really your position? because this is no different then saying that our party should simply have supported reparations for slavery - to buy this support. its no different.
