"Girls and boys learn differently. By being separated from boys, girls can concentrate on learning, on leading (in clubs etc.) and don't have worry about what Tommy will think if she answers the question. They are allowed to grow independently (and they get into less trouble sexually). I'm all for it.

Swap "girls" for "boys" in the above paragraph, and it's also true.

Actually, it would be MORE of an improvement for boys, as the "ed-biz" these days is turning into more and more of a "woman-dominated" environment, and women think "natural boy behavior" is "bad" or a result of ADHD, and drug the poor little males into a stupor.

Exactly. I am always hoping that my son will have a male teacher, because they understand his never-ending energy and ideas. We refused to go the drug route, and I've never regretted it. What kind of a message do we send when we start drugging our children in kindergarten, and what kind of a life will they have when adults? It will be interesting to see the "studies" in three decades, when all these children become drug-dependent through life.
