Psycho therapists would have a field day analyzing these senators. They are asking Roberts how he FEELS about things. Ha! Only God knows how we really feel about stuff.
It's really is so stupid of them. And he never falls into their trap. Of course I have no training in the law, so much of what Roberts says is very arcane to me, yet he always brings it back to a central point I can understand. It's just a pleasure to see someone display such a fine intellect. And no notes! For hours and hours. It's a thing of beauty.
That's right and who should care? It's about following the constitution and rule of law, not about his views on the issues.

The dims are trying to lock onto the judges feelings, because (they believe) then they can state that Roberts is unable to separate logic from personal feelings. That is an easy way for them to spin in the media, but inaccurate from a psychological/sociological perspective.
