The hunter who angrily swore at Chia Soua Vang during a confrontation over trespassing had a small amount of alcohol in his body when Vang shot and killed him, a medical examiner testified this afternoon.
Dr. Kelly Mills, assistant Ramsey County medical examiner, said that Robert Crotteau, one of six hunters killed in gunfire that erupted during the confrontation, had a blood-alcohol content roughly equivalent to the effects of one can of beer, one shot of whiskey or a glass of wine.
Mills testified that she also performed autopsies on victim Allan Laski and Jessica Willers. Neither had alcohol or drugs in his or her system, she said. She testified that all three died of gunshot wounds. Crotteau was shot in the back and the bullet destroyed his heart and passed through several other organs, she testified.

In Wisconson, during hunting season, I'll bet there's lots of alcohol in the blood of hunters. So what.
On another related thread a poster responded to condemnation of this creep by saying we don't know all the facts and was also defending the self-defense plea.
When asked if he thought if the creep was justified he got snippy and called it a stupid question.
Blows my mind that anyone would justify this creep. Especially here on FR.

Right, so now it's not Vang's fault for one. There's always the others. Maybe the jury won't be so sympathetic about him shooting a woman especially if he shot her in the back.

These are all of the facts coming out, as it needs to be. Withholding anything would be suspect. This is a non-factor.

Of course, there no way of knowing what was in the killers bloodstream at the time, is there? How much time lapsed between the killings and the capture?
I don't think you will see any of the usual racial flame throwers rushing to this guy's defense. He does not have O.J.s cache'..... or money.
I only added that because a recommende dose of Nyquil osr some other cold medicione's will give you roughly the same reading
