I knew he screwed the pooch by taking ANY responsiblity. Now, they smell blood.
Dang, you're quick! And so is that website!
I posted on a thread last night...that my impression of what President Bush did yesterday by "taking responsibility"...
was like me, as a mother....who has a child that falls and breaks an arm while playing in their room....As a parent, I am responsible for that child, but as far as the broken arm is concerned...it wasn't my FAULT....
I think that is what he is saying..yes, as POTUS he is responsible...but when you have an idiot mayor and idiot governor...making decisions like THEY made...it isn't his FAULT.
HA! Now that Bush has taken the high ground and the wind out of finger-pointing Leftist's sails, they're all trying to climb up there with him. Hypocritical opportunists!
I think I heard on the radio news today, that they are totally discounting the Able Danger thing....that even if they were told about it and Atta, it isn't their fault...LOL
They had the cause of 9-11 on their commission. They let Sandy Berger steal documents 3 times, all the while they were trying to get Rice.
It's time to play hardball Mr. President. Take the new tone and stick it up their a5S! I am so sick of these liars and hypocrites!
It get's to the point Mr. President that you are putting the country at risk of being run by the very people in Congress that are pounding the mantras and attacks.
We can't risk being run by these people. It's time to ruin them. All of them and it's not being done.
So much scandal has went on with the dems that they should be ruined for 20 freaking years and now we could be at risk of having Hitlery as our next president.
Get some damn balls!! With all due respect. You have nothing to lose now.
Maybe I don't see the bigger picture but I'm gettin impatient with these Socialists. They need to STFU!
That's the truth and I won't believe her until I hear her drop her incessant criticism. If, by chance, she does, we can thank Bush for his leadership. And in my perfect world, there will be an investigation that leaves Blanco and the rest exposed.
If Condi is pushing the "minority agenda," so are you.....LOL. Remove the tinfoil when you watch the TV; it might help.
Hillary presented the resolution to the Senate...but the Senate needed 2/3 "yea" votes to pass a resolution to establish an independent commission...the vote was 54-44
I heard that Lieberman voted NO---I think because President Bush and Dennis Hastert and Bill Frist are having a bi-cameral, bi-partisan investigation...
OF course, that was BEFORE, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have both said that they won't LET the dems participate in a congressional investigation...
SO...we shall see..
I wholeheartedly agree with you....but I am afraid that WE aren't politicians...
There must be something different in people that can take the kind of crap that Bush has had to take, both personally and professionally, and yet he doesn't "strike back"...like you, I, and I am sure, many Americans wish he would...
BUT, then, if he did, he would be giving the left and the media a NEW reason to attack him...I think they get frustrated as much as we do...that he doesn't do or say something back...
At least I hope so....
please convey those thoughts to the White House comment line.(goggle it) If ever the President needs us, he needs to hear our voices now!
I think there's too much evidence of scandal on her part for her not to say these things.
"Get some damn balls!! With all due respect. You have nothing to lose now."
How profound/sarcasm
I should take you seriously?
Oh, I'm sorry Mr. intellectual! Were my comments not the obsequious remarks that you'd prefer for the president, and find to be... "profound?" Sorry, that I've expressed such disdain for the presidents passivness towards his colleagues. I believe it is time for him to be more belligerent--in the political sense.
You're need for such a reply, without regards to understanding the reason of the frusration, or the circumstances that wrought the remarks, illustrates narcissism to highest degree.
Cherrio chap!
