That is 'hubris'.

If you wish to use latin or greek to amplfy your point you should spell it correctly.

Two things:

a.) the Greek original word is spelled with upsilon - (the Greek don't have a "U"). Where I learnt Classical Greek we used this transliteration. Most Dictionaries give "hybris" as alternative spelling, see e.g Britannica.com . But I'll try to use the standard American spelling in the future.

b.) You were kind enough to confirm old net wisdom about spelling flames - thanks, it is nice to see that amplified occasionally.
