This is nothing new. The libs did the same in Los Angeles with the National Guard at LAX in the wake of 9/11.
What's really sad is that it was so obvious. I just stared in disbelief at a guardsman until he finally said, "Can I help you, sir?" And I blurted out, "My God...you have no clip! You have no ammunition!"
"Move along, sir," was all I got as a reply.
He was armed with an M-1?
But it wasn't true everywhere. I was in the OK City airport while the Guard was still supplying security. They most definitely had magazines in their M-16s. Don't know if the magazines had any cartridges in them of course.
