Obviously you've never been to the Otero Mesa Grasslands. Wind blows all the friggin' time. Airports out there use logging chain for wind socks.You mentioned something about raptors.

Raptors are the cuisinart byproduct of your wind Turbines. CA recently shut down an entire wind farm during the months of raptor migration. To avoid the mess.
