They know he is unlikely to choose another Justice while Roberts is still under consideration. Well therein lies the problem as they are constantly misunderestimating him and I doubt he will be swayed into selecting a moderate and upsetting his base. He gets one chance to change the direction of this court and I'm sure he will NOT disappoint.

I hope so, but President Bush has always had the bad habit of trying to molify the opposition and speak nicely of his enemies. But it only encourages them.
