I don't see what is wrong with this. What better way is there to show who is responsible than by making it in the shape of a red crescent?
I try not to argue with a fellow FReeper BUT perhaps you're not as emotionally attached to 9-11 as some others. Using your logic, it would be okay to put swastikas on the graves of Jews murdered in the Holocaust. Would that be acceptable to you?
I think not, and I admit that's an extreme example . . . but don't you think death is extreme? American Heroes were murdered on Flight 93. IMHO . . . Any Memorial should be dedicated to them and reflective of their courageous actions . . . AND THAT's ALL. The Liberal-pantywaists should sing Kumbaya on their own time, on their own soil, and far, far away from where the REAL fighting is taking place.
This PC-nonsense is squashing the very essence of the "American-ness" that separates us from the Euro-Weenies. Every-day-Americans will not capitulate to our enemies. Every-day-Americans will not kowtow to our enemies. Every-day-Americans know the ONLY way to defeat our terrorist enemies is to kill them.
To have any Memorial suggest otherwise, most importantly, is a slap in the face of the heroes of Flight 93 . . . and this "peace and harmony" BS spewed by a liberal minority only emboldens our enemies.
My tagline says it all.
