1) I know exactly where she's at.
2) Somehow you managed to get out of that exchange that I was being critical of her? You need to get some sleep.

It all started with my reply to Nobody. I was thinking how great it was that April came all the way from Texas to attend our FReep at Walter Reed... then I started thinking about how big-hearted Texans are... and then about the wonderful show of support FReepers made in Crawford, Texas...

Anyway, "How 'bout them FReepers!!"

Did the journalist that attended write about the freep?

Thank you again Dr. Raoul for getting me back to the hotel safely.

No story from the journalist yet. Maybe, the story will run only after he comes back?

The sacrifices Doctor Raoul makes for FR. :)

OK, you've gotten quite a few complements on the thread.

And you've announced that you're coming back and bringing friends. Please tell me that your friends are former Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders, you know the ones who quit when they thought the uniform redesign was too old- fashioned? Maybe that would be enough to pry some of the FReepers away from their keyboards?

The reason I mention the cheerleaders is that it might be along the lines of Coop's great marketing ploy to get people to look at this thread, albeit with a misleading title:

The America Supports You FREEDOM WALK is a walk of remembrance and support. Remembrance of the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the Pentagon, Twin Towers, and Flight 93 over Pennsylvania, and support of the many American men and women in uniform, past and present, who protect our freedom. Q2: When is the America Supports You FREEDOM WALK being held? A2: The America Supports You FREEDOM WALK is being held on September 11, 2005, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Pentagon South parking lot and is free and open to anyone who registers.http://www.asyfreedomwalk.com/

No, since she had criticized you, albeit mildly, I thought that you were waiting to return the favor. Guess I was wrong in what I was guessing.

As a Washington fan you wouldn't be offended and complain if I showed up with a boatload of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders?? Not that I'm saying I will, I'm just checking. I wouldn't want any complaints afterwards.

I guess folks will just have to start showing up to see if they show up...

It's a funny sign. Media Benjamin and Gael Murphy have both talked about it. One wanted to buy it.

I take it that you won't be holding the sign, but I think the weight of opinion here is to keep using it.

We do the usual pick-up routine on Friday.

If we could use them to pry many of our reluctant FReepers away from their keyboards, I would put up with the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders, but only for the good of the troops.

Bring it on!

PS. Seriously though, maybe we could try to get some of the cheerleaders, Cowboys or others, to visit the WR troops?

I'll be there in Spirit! Someone hug my 'homeboy soldier' for me if he shows up again.

Count on it. Where is he from so I'll know him.

You're a great American, coming all the way from TX to do this great duty. Inspired me to come from N Michigan to follow your lead.

Maybe some FReepers don't know how easy it is. Just show up. Hold a sign or a flag and boost the troops' morale. If you can't stay the whole time don't worry about it.

Remember, they were there for you. Big Time. And now is your chance to show them our nation is grateful and they're in our hearts.

Boost the morale of our wounded troops and their families.

It's fun and a good way to give back. If you have questions or need directions, just ask and someone will answer you.

We are hoping to make it again this Friday, but we may be very late. If you're having camera troubles, I'll bring my camera and tripod. It takes some great night shots if it's on the tripod.

Your bumps are greatly appreciated!

Clear over on the left coast and cant be there, least I can do.

BTW;

Exceptional job you all are doing.

Please consider the following, which has been extremely successful out here in Brea Ca.:

Get on Rush and Sean and talk about what you are doing. I an sure that Trueblackman and Kristin are know to them and would be easy to get on the show.

Get word(email) to the local chapter of the VVA (Vietnam Veterans of America) they are active and turn out in large numbers (at least out here)

Email the collage republicans each local collage chapter and the young republicans they are the ones that will be active. Any other group has been a waste of time (once again out here).

Since you have the Rolling Thunder back there and they freepeed with you two weeks ago, surly you have a contact number.

You probably are doing these things if so I don’t understand how the numbers are dropping.

I'm guilty of being a bad thread-bumper. I'll make a special effort over the next week.
