Prior to joining MSNBC, Kaplan was senior vice president at ABC News, a network he rejoined after a three-year stint as president of the U.S. division of CNN.

And just as a rough estimate, the chances of him being a die-hard left-wing ideologue that would make Marx blush are about 100%.

The only thing MSNBC has going for it Monica Crowley; how I wish she'd go to Fox and take Greta's place!

Well what did MSMNBC think they would get with Kaplan? He replicated precisely for them what he had done (for) to CNN--sent the ratings into the tank.

Maybe albore needs some help with his network.
To: jimbo123
It doesn't matter who they replace him with. Until the libs that own the network realize that their personal hatered of Republicans and Conservatives in general, that unless they have chicks (like are on FOX) doing the news topless, they aren't going to get squat for raitings.

If he goes, will all the dreadful shows he's put on that horrible network go with him? A test pattern might get higher ratings.

As I have mentioned before, I went to college with Rick Kaplan. We were in the same fraternity. He never activated because his grades were not good enough. Needless to say, his intellect never impressed anyone.
I have never understood how he got where he is.

Sarge is right. This guy may be a conservative mole, wrecking one liberal network after another.
