Mike, I seriously think that Dubya was doing just what you always said: He's playing chess. Neither he nor any member of his administration have said anything negative about the gov. of La, or the mayor of N.O. Yet, the libs are accusing him of slinging insults at them. (Liars) So, Dubya knows that he's being warned NOT to blame them or he'll hear lots more of the same.
He has called for a special investigation. Now he's accepted responsibility for the mistakes. The world will all be waiting for the results. And the world will finally know the truth. And Dubya won't have fired a single shot at the libs. (Checkmate)

I hope that is the way the investigation goes into the matter, but I can't help but be fearful that it will be the 9-11 commission all over again. The biggest waste of taxpayer's money and time. Pookie's today's toons thread has been having alot of cartoons with it's all Bush's fault. And it's funny in one sense but after a while it just wears you down.
