As I recall, the show was somewhat "PG" with live sperm in a bag, and historical Civil-war era weaponry. IIRC the conclusions were more or less based on the findings that a fired bullet would have been at a temperature too high to keep the sperm alive long enough to do its "thing", notwithstanding the incredible amount of ricocheting required...
