I would much rather him say the same thing to reporters that he said to Pelosi.

I don't pretend to know everything about the FED response but every comparison I have made with past disasters have revealed the Fed response after Katrina/Flooding was ON TIME.

I believe any investigation that is FAIR will reveal the LOCAL and STATE GOVT to be the MAIN culprits and that THEY slowed any Federal response if indeed it was "SLOW".

Good move, as it puts the onus on Blanco, Landrieu and Nagin to accept the blame for their Katrina failures also.

All three of them are up for reelection. Bush isn't.
