Roberts just addressed an issue that bothered conservatives, that is assisting in the Denver case that ultimately led to the overturning of Webster.
Roberts said that he never turned down anyone in his law firm that asked for assistance in arguing before the Supreme Court; that a good lawyer could argue both sides in a case. A lawyer never stands in the shoes of his client. He re-emphasized that he never turned down ANYONE in his firm who asked for assistance.
This is as we thought.
