I doubt Mark R. advocates death for straying spouses.

But it would do you good, I have no doubt, to read the entire work from which this one sentence apparently was plucked.

I never heard of the Mark Rushdoony, however, the Heavenly Father divorced Israel ....

Of course for those who are Biblically limited this is a spiritual divorce.

So whomever this Rushdonny person is, he is Biblically illiterate claiming a resolution to the problem of divorce calling for capital punishment. The Heavenly Father never pronounced a capital punishment upon Israel or Judah for that matter.
