Hmm,,I was aware police were on that bridge, not aware Jeff parish deputies were there. I think the Bridge involved was to Algiers which is part of Orleans parish not Jefferson {Gretna is in Jefferson}. Algiers was on the other side of that bridge.

I don't know who was blocking that bridge. But I suspect it had something to do with Algiers and that the cops may have been Orleans Parish cops.

It's the Crescent City Connection bridge which is on highway 90, I believe, going west out of town. It crosses over to Gretna in Jefferson Parish.
