according to our own hflynn, taking guns away from the law abiding citizens is okay because there are criminal out there using guns to break the law!
Oh, and the police are part of the mililia, too, so they can take away guns. Whatever that has to do with anything.

That video was posted here on FR somewhere. The day after I saw it, I saw a Fox News headline that said "No Force Used Yet in Gun Confiscations". Uhm... the video SAID Fox News, IIRC? Anyone else remember it?

I would like some accountability on this issue. Personally, I would like to see some indictments.
If anyone can show me in the constitution where a hurricane or a flood gives the government the authority to wholesale confiscate the firearms of otherwise law abiding citizens, I'd like to see it.
It's about time. Let's see if AG Gonzales is as supportive of the 2nd Amendment as John Ashcroft is. Somehow, methinks not.

IMO, there is never justification for seizure of guns UNLESS the guy is shooting at authorities. It can't come under the due process section because guns are made a special case by the 2nd amendment.

Been going on for years under domestic violence laws. Many a scorned woman has made an unsubstantiated allegation in order to ensure her boyfriend or husband loses his guns. Judges believe that it is better that 99% of men falsely accused be deprived of their 2nd Amendment rights than 1% commit violence with a gun. The Second Amendment is dead in many ways. All one needs to do is claim the confiscation is being done "for women" or "for the children."

Bush's neighbor blows off a little steam testing his guns on his own property. It is investigated, and the authorities leave because it was a legal act.
contrast that with a democratic run city and state, and you see who will break down doors of law abiding citizens with no warrants, and then illegally steal their guns.
Blanco needs to be arrested and charged.
This is more outrageous than other outrages coming from this cesspool.
I only regret I have so few fingers for so many guns.

Nah, his buds don't like those guns. They prefer the ones with the sights mounted on the right side of the slide so they can hold the pistol in their familiar horizontal grip style.
