I caught an interview with the mayor of Gulfport on CNN and the reporter asked the mayor:
(paraphrasing) Since the Federal government has done such terrible job of aiding the victims of the hurricane, what would you like to say about it ?
To his credit the mayor said he said he felt that everyone involved including the federal government had done a heroic job in dealing with an unprecedented disaster. Sure there were things that could have been done better, but overall he had nothing but good things to say.
The reporter interrupted him three times to rephrase the question and try to get the mayor to go negative and the mayor resisted and stayed positive.

When you alter the content of a news story,
you are not reporting the truth. When you do
so, to convey an import that was not originally
part of the story..
Ergo, you are *fabricating*!!
You are telling an UNTRUE STORY! A LIE!
CNN *was* caught fabricating the "news", and
*not* just "fabricating emotion", so my
headline *was* accurate!
