I think the Heinz-Kerrys may still be outdoing Huffy in terms of consuming petro-resources: yachts, cars, limos, jet planes... And there have been a number of stories about how Babs Streisand keeps her various mansions so cold in the summer you can keep meat fresh in them...of course it hasn't helped in her case. Then there was the story about Robert Redford who spoke at a Greeny conference. At one point he intoned "we have to stop listening to the scientists," at which point one observer quipped, "I thought they already had." Yes, what a bunch of rich left-wing hypocrites who like to lecture the rest of us, but live by their own rules.

And GASP! nobody's voting for them, buying their books, listening to their radio programs, or going to the movie theaters anymore to see them!! How could that be??!! We are supposed to adore them, emulate them, form fan clubs....feh.
