It is the approved design that some misguided fools want to make to commemorate the heroes of Flight 93. They have called it the "crescent of embrace" or something equally asinine.
The creator of the piece says it's "not religious per se"...even though it is obviously a red crescent and points towards Mecca.
OMG! That HAS to be some kind of joke! They CANNOT be serious! What do the families think of this? I am in utter disbelief at this moment.
