yep. ok to show Abu Girab all day, only place you'll see the planes crashing is on, perhaps Fox, History Channel or Discovery.
CBS had rights to that French documentary that had film from inside the towers with the firemen, it should be required viewing every 9/11 but they've decided not to air it again and probably hold rights to people ever seeing it again.
that is a good point, I thought they were going to show that every 9-11? what happened with that? they buried it I guess.
We recorded that French documentary on DVR.
Thankfully, I have that one on VHS and will watch it again.
I found a copy of that in Sam's a couple years ago and snatched it up. I figured we'd need to remember. I wish I had bought several now. It's very powerful.
Just wait...Hollywood will soon put out a movie showing all the "failures" of the Bush administration after Katrina.
But, it will be a long time before we see a movie about 9-11.
9/11 Filmmakers' Commemorative Edition.
I sent this DVD to Bagram, Afghanistan. Also sent it to two units in Iraq --a battalion in Baghdad and a Battery at Kirkuk. They were sent to arrive before this anniversary of 9/11 along with DC 9/11: Time of Crisis starring Timothy Bottoms as President Bush.
Also good is In Memoriam about 9/11 in NY City and narrated by Rudy Giuliani.
They all can be purchased at Amazon.
Both 9/11 movies are available thru Netflix for rent. I also purchased the Flight that Fought Back from Discovery so I can show it to family and friends on each anniversary. Just take control of how you commemorate 9/11 and make it into a Super Bowl-like event (obviously with much more gravity and seriousness-but you get what I mean-invite over the neighborhood, etc.) Screw the MSM - take control of your circle of influence. My wife and I watched my purchased copy of The Flight that Fought Back on Saturday night, Sep 10 at a time convenient for us.
