The film depiction of Flight 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania on 9/11/01 is being shown on the Discovery Channel at 9 pm Eastern time.
That is in less than one hour for people in all time zones that are on satellite feed.
A FReeper lost his Dad on this flight and wants everyone to watch.
He says it has some (but not all) of the real communications from the plane.

You know, they don't count the baby in the number dead, even though Pennsylvania law would allow murder charges for causing the death of an unborn baby.

"public outcry got rid of that human rights group at ground zero that wanted their "commentary"..we can do the same with the crescent."
Tonight FOX reported that the design has yet to be approved. If the outcry is loud enough, perhaps it will be scraped.

I usually have a St. Michael the Archangel candle to burn on 9/11, but I didn't have one for this year.
Tonight, it's The Sacred Heart of Jesus burning for them.

Watching this just rekindles the anger - not just at the terrorists but against Cindy Sheehan and her cadre of cowards. Her son was a hero yet she dishonors him as she actually seeks to help destroy our nation by her actions and her verbalization of her insanities.
My heart is breaking for the man that lost not only his wife, but his child that she was carrying as well!!
There was another victim on Flight 93

I cried the whole time! What a terrible tragedy.America better wise up! These people are the enemy, they should be KILLED !We better stop worrying about PC and start kicking ASS!

Unfortunately, it seems that a lot of these nice people were bamboozled by the honey-tongued "artists" who designed the memorial. Here is Elizabeth's nice sister asking for contributions to it. I will only give money to the memorial if it is not a stupid red crescent.

A simple solution would be to turn the crescent into a full circle.

It would be nice, but not necessary, they know why they are there.

Discovery Channel did a great job on this one. I hope a lot of people watched it - I still get goose bumps when I see video of those planes crashing into the towers.

"we can do the same with the crescent."
How about an eagle crushing a red crescent with its talons? I would pay good money for that!

perhaps through the memorial fund folks.
And while you're at it...give them your humble "o" about the back stabbing design.
I'll see if there is another link. I've seen it here on FR.

I actually liked the little red white and blue angels they showed in the field - I know something more lasting needs to go up but couldn't they stick with that theme? I will answer myself - of course not.

A simple solution would be to turn the crescent into a full circle. Most definitely - a circle is infinite, no beginning and no end!! A much more fitting memorial!!

How about extending the crescent to a "3" and put a "9" in front of it in blue.
