The film depiction of Flight 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania on 9/11/01 is being shown on the Discovery Channel at 9 pm Eastern time.
That is in less than one hour for people in all time zones that are on satellite feed.
A FReeper lost his Dad on this flight and wants everyone to watch.
He says it has some (but not all) of the real communications from the plane.

I never heard it put like that.

... the plane is going to be used for a suicide mission, so she tells the husband to just sit down.Have the full CD of this ... previewed it two nights ago. At this point in 'The Flight that Fought Back' I told my wife ... what you have here is a perfect example of liberal mentality ... don't piss these people off, maintain a low profile ... hopefully they'll not hurt you. My wife was irritated at me ... go figure.

"The passengers and crew [of Flight] 93 frustrated Al Qaeda's plans."
That's an understatement.

Book marked. Thanks. Just got done watching the history channel's show on the Heros of Flight 11. It was about the airline stewardes. I never knew that one. Also, I think the passengers and crew of flight 93 should receive the medal of freedom for what they did. They probably saved many lives.

I don't know about anyone else, but this has to be one of the hardest things I've ever watched. I've been crying so hard thru the whole thing. Very much like the firefighter documentary by the French brothers
I only hope that if I were ever, God forbid, in a situation like that, I could act with the bravery of those 40 people!!

The plane was 15 minutes from DC..... that is how close we came to losing the US Captiol or the White House.

The airline stewards were a big reason why the hijackers were identified on 11 and 175 so quickly.

These people were the ultimate in showing their heroism. I can only hope I would have done the same being placed in the same situation.
We will never forget
God bless all of those who lost their lives on that terrible day, on a day when so many gave their lives, but a day in which heroes were born.

The father playing the piano heard his daughter's voice in his head, saying she was fine. God bless her soul, and may the angels lead her, and all the heroes of Flight 93, into paradise.

God bless the people who died on September 11th.
