Because in real life he appears to not be such a demobat. I saw him the other night on BOR defending the president against charges of racism and he did a great job. (Yeah, I know, but Gibson was sitting in for BOR.)
I believe that Juan is a confirmed lefty, but rather sensible...except for the fact that he has agreed to be Brit's sparring partner and always leaves the ring completely battered. But, I guess they must pay him well.
