That was part of my initial take as well. They need to take a look at the cooperation and fortitude the world took to go against the Third Reich - if they do indeed declare war on the entire planet, and the other countries take arms up with us - China, Russia, Eastern and Western Europe, even countries like the Philipines, and are UNRESTRAINED in their hunt and capture and killing of those waging war, they will be dumbfounded quickly at how fast their "caliphate" will crumble and be obliterated and reduced to greasy stains on concrete.

It will make the invasion of Bahgdad look like a tea party. They have NO IDEA how restrained we were in certain aspects of war this time around, in effort to save civilians. If the gloves come off, ala WWII, and civilian casualties become less important, they will find themselves decimated in short order. Just with our air support, we can level cities. We OWN the skies. We OWN the seas. If we can get a massive and orderly ramp up of our forces, we can roll right over them.

The biggest leverage they have right now is the Left...but if they manage to piss THEM off, and allow who-ever is in charge to hunt these animals at will...the Muslim faith could become a footnote in the history books.

I'm not putting any faith in the Left, but if anyone is capable of pissing them if, it's these animals. They'll kill the Left just as easily as the Right. Right now, the Left will open the gates for them, and invite them in. If hostilities increase, trust in our Left population to support, aid, and abet these animals, before they change their tune.

A world war of this extreme, in fact, might be the only thing that will wake the Left sheeple up from their delusions and realize they've been sold out for political power and campaign contributions. Sad state of afairs, to be sure, that we cannot trust just about half our population.

A world war waged with Islam has been on the table for a long time, it's been written about and discussed for as long as I can remember. However...I'm betting on the West. It will be a long, bloody, horrific war, but we WILL win. It will be at a very, very, very high cost, but we will win.
