Are journalists really this stupid? I must say, I knew they were spewing leftist propaganda, but I respected their intelligence prior to the 2000 election.
Now I realize how incompetent and over-rated they are. Watergate elevated them to a position they did not deserve. They are mere hacks - every day the bloggers expose just how lazy and incompetent they are.

When I went to Wayne State University in Deetroit in the early 1970's the easiest major by far was journalism (as long as you toed the Socialist line of course). The second easiest was teaching.
You know the old comment by Mark Twain: Reporters can investigate and do research, or they can simply repeat what is told to them -- both approaches pay the same.
Not really - their job is to produce entertaining filler to go between the ads and the efficient way to do this is to recycle press releases; no bothersome asking of questions, no wasted time or money checking for accuracy, just rephrase the handout and slip it between the ads. This is what journalism is and journalists do it quite competently.

Many are from small unranked colleges who may or may not have finished degrees so they have little if any subject matter expertise and reasoning ability. The media elites with "back east" snooty degrees are Politburo agenda driven appuratchiks; most displayed their herd instincts and appetites as Clintons' coprophagics.
