Seriously?! Is that true?

Also, is it true that Nagin didn't stay in N.O. during the storm...that he rode it out in Baton Rouge? (Being in the storm area, I didn't see any news the week after it hit).

I'm sick of the politically correct coverage. We'll see if Russert breaks the mold and asks some tough questions (will he show Nagin the bus picture?).

see my post # 11 for the article link: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1482200/posts?page=11#11

I did hear that he left NO to ride out the storm, but I never saw it confirmed anywhere ... I wonder..?

I wouldn't blame him if he bailed but he should've done more to have those who couldn't move themselves easily evacuated first.

His family was helivaced to Baton Rouge. He and his entourage stayed at the Hyatt next to the SuperDome.

If that is true -- it's the THIRD story today. Newsweek says he was at the Hyatt, another thread says he told RUsset he was in the Superdome and you heard Baton Rouge. Wonder where he really was???
