"Amazing how all out politicians tiptoe around China and its brand of Communism, but we rail at Cuba and NK and Syria, et. al."

Yes. Cuba, NK, and Syria are socialist and their human rights abuses are so extreme that nobody even pays attention anymore. China is no longer socialist (though not ideally capitalist either), and whether you want to believe it or not, DOES have higher human rights standards than the other 3 you listed as a result.

Money now rules China...Communism still rules Cuba...and Syria...is just Syria. Oh, and lets not forget North Korea and its God-Master-King-the appointed one...the Kim.

Uh, China was never socialist... it is an extreme Communist dictatorship, with no freedom of speech, press, worship, right to trial.. right on down the bill of rights. The commies never had problems sitting down with the capitalists and talking cold, hard cash. They'll do business with us (remember Lenin's line - we'll sell them the rope by which they'll hang themselves). Well, they're selling us everything to the point where nothing is being made in the USA.

Or maybe we'll just keep an economy growing buying and selling each other's houses...
