In Drexler's world, lesbian families protected from fathers and their toxic masculinity are the best environments in which to raise boys.
Aren't lesbians supposed to be very masculine?

I think so. What the hell is "toxic" masculinity anyway?

Aren't lesbians supposed to be very masculine? From what I know about them, (which isn't a lot), one is suppose to be feminine, one masculine.

Aren't lesbians supposed to be very masculine?I work with a number of lesbians, (there's a disproportionate number of them in the construction trades), and they aren't really masculine in the sense that men are. They have all the trappings of masculinity, the short haircuts, masculine clothing, etc... They generally don't have the courage and boldness that really defines masculinity though. In my experience they are the first ones to cut corners or call for assistance if a job is potentially dangerous.
