My understanding is this refers to mothers that choose to remain single Gidget. I can tell you from experience they have very similar worldviews.
Mine is still paying for her foolishness. ;o)
Choosing to be a single mother, deliberately, is just foolish. Remember the days when it was so frowned upon? ahhhhhh to have the good old days back again! (They weren't that long ago!)
