All of us over 50 should be lesbians because almost all of our mothers smoked like chimneys. Don't you all who grew up in the 1950's remember riding around in the car (without a seatbelt) while the interior turned blue with tobacco smoke? Even very prim and proper mothers smoked like mad in those days, and pregnancy was certainly no bar to being a champion smoker.

I'm afraid we have to look somewhere else for the explanation...

Yep and for hundreds of years people have been dying and for all the people who have quit smoking, people are still dying. I thought if we quit smoking, we wouldn't die!
