Good for Trent. NO is getting all the news, all the aid. Other states were hit -- even some white people. The whining is just not quite as loud. Might it not be racist to only aid black people??? I say good for Trent.

Right you are (and I say this as a native of Louisiana, with relatives (now "from" rather than "in") New Orleans. New Orleans is getting all the "press", but the Mississippi Gulf Coast was actually hardest hit.

Absolutely and Lott did the right thing. Stepped in and assumed leadship when it was necessary. Mississippii is getting the short end of the relief stick.

I think all relief must first go thru New Orleans since it's all about NOLA. Forget Bayou La Batre AL and MS coast.

FNC interviewed a navy officer on the deck of one of the ships near NOLA the other day and they had a total of three patients on board.

The vast other areas where there is much more damage with injury potential would seem to need medical help more.
