"You know, Kathleen Blanco has been running the state here, she's in her first term. You've had a bunch of white governors throughout the state's history and you've had the population of New Orleans what it is for a long time. And you've had the poverty in New Orleans among that population what it is for a long time. I think Kathleen Blanco hates black people. I don't think she cares about black people, and I don't think Huey Long cared. I don't think Edwin Edwards cared about black people. You know why? Because he didn't do one damned thing to help them out! He sat there, she sat there, all these people sat there while the black people of New Orleans suffered away in poverty as part of the entitlement state. I must conclude they don't like black people."

Rush completely nailed the hypocrisy of the left with this!

MSM Rule # 1. All Republicans are racists.
MSM Rule # 2. Dimwits (including Sheets Byrd) are never racists.

We had a boss like that on the old Soo Line RR
He did not like white people...

I could tell...because everytime he came by and
we were sitting around bs ing on the clock

He would yell at us to get back to work...

Since we were all white guys ...it can only be concluded
that since he refused to pay us for not working..

He must have hated us...

imo

ACTUAL racism would be consistent with her actions in letting the poor DIE while she played DNC style politics.

Kathleen Blanco's husband, Raymond, was dean at USL in Lafayette when Martin Luther King, Jr. was shot. On that April day in 1968, he was requested to lower the school flag to half-staff, as was being done all over the county. Raymond politely told the requesters to f--- off.

During the 2003 campaign, as she was running about 5 to 10 points behind her Republican opponent, Indian-American Bobby Jindal, Kathleen put out an anti-Jindal ad in which a photo of her opponent was touched up so as to resemble a bona-fide "black" man. The ad was screamingly headlined "WAKE UP, LOUISIANA!" Kathleen won by four points.

Just a couple of tidbits.

I just love listening to him. I have a friend who is conservative, but told me she didn't like to listen to him because, in her eyes, he seems pompous. I told her that what I really like about him is that he makes so much sense! She got over it after that.

Soo Line. We have a Gil Reid original of a Soo GP in our hallway. Not that it matters since we're "trailer trash."

That's part of Rush's charm -- his pompousness is entirely tongue-in-cheek. Your friend should check out O'Reilly's radio show for GENUINE egotism.

Racism is part of the Democratic party's normal, everyday MO. It is part of their nature and who they are. Democrats have a LONG HISTORY of Racism...

Racism by governor and local officials Jesse Jackson silent about.

Governor Blanco refused to let helicopters drop food and water fearing riots from black people no one calls out her racism.

Police evacuated tourists from the superdome and left the black people there what about that racism.

Mayor let the hotel guests go to the superdome and cut to the front of the line for people waiting for buses at the superdome.

Cops in the precinct to the west of Orleans refused to let black people cross the bridge fearing mass looting no one talks about that racism.

Limbaugh was starting to get a bit dull until a few months ago. Now I think he is better than he has ever been. God bless you, Mr Limbaugh.

And the moral is. . .there are much worse things than being poor. Casting a vote for a Democrat. . .is one of them; being responsible for the success of these self-annointed Demrats contains it's own curse.

Can you provide reliable links for both of these pieces of information? I don't doubt for a minute it's true, but for something of this magnitude, I think it's important to have verification from credible sources.
