They could have been collecting bodies on the streets instead of wasting time on the hold-outs.
Yes, they could have, and I might add, should have. Why force a rescue that's not wanted or needed?
I detect a note of sarcasm in your post, but would like to remind you that what is happening in New Orleans might one day happen to you. To be forcibly pulled from your house, at gun point, while they shoot your pets (as they are doing in St. Bernard Parish), is not something anyone on Free Republic should support.
I totally agree with that statement.
